Do You Treat God Like A Prostitute?
“If you … witness courageously, the truth will miraculously win.” – Medjugorje June 2, 2015

____________________________________________________________________________ Surely the gospel of grace is true.
By His death for us, all of our sins can be overcome and we can gain eternal life.
However equally true and deserving equal focus is the obligation of grace to repent from every sin.
The most studied Old Testament passage in the world today was Genesis 3 and satan's first recorded deception of mankind. Satan‘s unspoken lie to Eve was devastating –
‘Sin has no consequences.’
That lie was obviously crushing and it took thousands of years and the death of Jesus to overcome that one sin alone. In complete contrast to what satan told Eve, the reality is that sin has such monumental consequences, God discriminates.
Yes - God discriminates. As scripture reminds us again and again and as today’s most studied psalm in the world calls us to reflect on, God does not bestow equal blessings upon everyone. Scripture points to blessings that come to those who fear Him and surrender to His commandments striving to be "godly":
Psalms 32:1-2, 5-7
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed is the man to whom the LORD imputes no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit. 5 I acknowledged my sin to thee, and I did not hide my iniquity; I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD"; then thou didst forgive the guilt of my sin. [Selah] 6 Therefore let everyone who is godly offer prayer to thee; at a time of distress, in the rush of great waters, they shall not reach him. 7 Thou art a hiding place for me, thou preservest me from trouble; thou dost encompass me with deliverance.
Blessed is the man to whom the LORD imputes no iniquity ... because such a godly lifestyle brings multitudes of graces upon those who strive to live without iniquity.
Below is link to a video of a young man who highlights that too often believers treat God like a prostitute - We only go to Him when we want something instead of thinking of Him first and striving not to offend Him. He highlights how offensive it is to God when we do not repent. H e seems yet another example of the many wonderful young people the Lord is utilizing to lead America back to Him.

Why We Fast – Our Core Fasting Intentions 1) For the Holy Spirit to reign down upon America renewing our land as the Christian, capitalist meritocracy we were founded to be. 2) For the protection of our police, firefighters, military and their families from harm and that the Lord bless their courageous generosity on our behalf one hundredfold. 3) For the protection of the families who fast with us, and for God’s blessings of abundance upon them and that true to His word, we will be able to witness that He prospered us in famine. 4) For Mike Lindell who is putting himself on the front lines suing over the election fraud that has taken place and for all of the warriors who are stepping up around the nation to fight for the gospel – May The Father cover them in the blood of our savior, protect them and their families from evil and bring victory to their endeavors. |
