In Wednesday’s Fasting reminder we referenced a video done by Sid Roth where he not only described in great detail some of the biblical passages that lead believers to pray in the Holy Spirit, but he also actually called viewers out.  Even if they had never prayed in tongues before, the Jewish-born Roth led viewers to begin praying in the Holy Spirit with him on the spot. He went beyond theory or talking and right into action – How admirable.

In yet another embarrassing mistake on the part of this editor, I did not insert the link properly into that reminder. A Pastor Leads Believers To Pray In The Spirit For The First Time

Going into this wonderful summer weekend, we will be able to feast on the sabbath and relax on the Sabbath because we will not labor on the Sabbath. [Tell your employer you will not work on the Sabbath – if you are fired, then the Lord has a better plan for you elsewhere.  And if your “employer” is your spouse, parents or children, then tell them that you are obligated to observe the Sabbath commandment at home as well! Without coincidence, the most studied Old Testament passage in the world today was from Hosea –

we will say no more, `Our God,' to the work of our hands. - Hosea 14:3

 i.e. who really is our God? The God who commands us not to labor on the Sabbath and how to conduct ourselves?  Or the work itself which compels us to disobey God as we choose money over God?

Perhaps you say, ‘but I need a job to pay the bills’, etc..   God also responded to that question today as the Spirit speaks to us in scripture. The same passage from Hosea continues:

8 O E'phraim, what have I to do with idols?

It is I who answer and look after you.

I am like an evergreen cypress, from me comes your fruit.

9 Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the LORD are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.]

Since we will not be working on the Sabbath we will also be able to savor beautiful nature that the Lord has created for our enjoyment, and we will have time to dance with the Spirit.

For your prayer reflection, here is one other video that could be very powerful in your life or the lives of those you love.

This video is a talk given by an exorcist from the United States, Rev. Jim Blount. 

In it, he tells the story of a family that had been broken apart and was reeling. He relays the story of his interaction with them and even names the names of this family who is in the public domain.

Rev. Blount recounts his bold prediction of what blessings awaited them if they would stop pitying themselves and follow his course of action.

For those of you who know families under attack, even if they have already splintered as this family had, this is an encouraging case study on healing.

Notice also that the exorcist is broadcasting this talk from Medjugorje which he clearly supports.  What does this say about the reality of what is happening in Medjugorje?

A Prescription For Healing A Family - And An International Success

No matter what denomination you are from, if you take your faith seriously, you need to delve into Medjugorje and its peerless impact upon Christianity in our generation.

The theologians and the Pharisees completely missed the Messiah was in their midst. So, it should not be a surprise to us today that our theologians and clergy are not leading the way on some of the most critical issues of our day, of which a minimum of twice weekly Fasting to restore the church and defeat evil is one such obligation.  Your willingness to step out and make this effort before the clergy awakens to this truth does not go unnoticed by heaven. Your effort will be a badge of honor you will bear for all of eternity.

Why We Fast – Our Core Fasting Intentions

1) We add the new fasting intention of taking back the church from evil. We submit the three-step process to achieve this victory is 1-Repent, 2-Prayer & Fasting and, 3-Imitate our Savior by throwing the evil leadership from the church. 6) For the Americans jailed after January 6th who were admitted to the Capitol building by the police, and who were not found to have destroyed any property at the capitol yet who have been held captive ever since on our own soil - That God's Spirit will move quickly to bring justice back to this land and free them.
