Not long ago, we highlighted the experience of a Colombian doctor, who was struck by lightning and died a horrific death. She was in route to hell as a consequence of having lived a moral and responsible but faithless life when suddenly, she was pulled back and given another opportunity at life.

The catalyst for the doctor's rescue from eternal torture that she could never escape from once inside hell?

The simple prayer of one peasant interceding for the doctor at the time of her death.

His one prayer triggered a rewrite of her forever.

Today we would like to highlight one more near death experience that we believe you will also find amazing. (You will see these referred to as NDE's in the media)

Once again this is a current day story, and the person who had the near-death experience is alive today. In this case she is near Pittsburgh.

After you watch this extraordinary story, be conscious that we start Lent today.

May we suggest in light of the incredible sacrifice Jesus is about to make for each one of us, perhaps we can resolve to do two things this lent?

First let’s try to pray throughout our day, even if so briefly that our prayer is less than one minute.

As you will see on this video, this person’s prayer literally lasted for just a few seconds but changed history.

If the Holy Spirit whispers in your ear or floats across your mind the idea to pray, be ready to respond. Two quick prayers to have in your spiritual quiver are simply:

“Praised be Jesus!”

And

“Come Holy Spirit”

That is all one needs to pray – just a few seconds to re-open your communications with Heaven during the day.

A second request for you to consider as you begin lent is this –

If you have not been bread and water fasting weekly on Wednesday and Friday – decide you will do so this Lent.

1) For the Holy Spirit to reign down upon America renewing our land as the Christian, capitalist meritocracy we were founded to be.

2) For the protection of our police, firefighters, military and their families from harm and that the Lord bless their courageous generosity on our behalf one hundredfold.

3) For the protection of the families who fast with us, and for God’s blessings of abundance upon them and that true to His word, we will be able to witness that He prospered us in famine.

6) For the Americans jailed after January 6th who were admitted to the Capitol building by the police, and who were not found to have destroyed any property at the capitol yet who have been held captive ever since on our own soil - That God's Spirit will move quickly to bring justice back to this land by freeing them while enlightening Americans how to bring God's justice back to our nation.

7) For young Megan who has an incurable liver condition @ Duke Hospital - Asking the Divine Physician for a complete healing.
