Thank you to all of you who are endeavoring to join us on our Esther this week, beginning at midnight tonight and running through Wednesday evening – a three day fast where we aspire to endure, eating and drinking nothing.

For those of you joining us for the first time, allow us to suggest that you can expect evil will try to discourage you. Is our experience that this will be most intense on day one. Expect that when you wake up tomorrow you will be very thirsty, perhaps as thirsty as you ever remember being when you first awoke.   Thoughts may come to your mind suggesting there’s no way you’re going to be able to make it for three days without drinking anything let alone without eating anything.  Expect that you will continue to have intense major doubts throughout day one.  It often seems that intensity of mental attacks from evil begins to recede after day one however as evil begins to lose its clutches on us.

This is a 72 hour fast – a 72 step mountain to climb.  We are not aware of any scientific research that suggests not having anything to drink for three days is good for someone. Having said that, we believe that this specific biblical fasting prescription used in times of great urgency has been memorialized for good reason.

So tonight at midnight we again set out on this spiritual journey, aspiring to make it through the three days as Esther did. The original Esther fast prevented the physical annihilation of God‘s believers. We make this fast this for the sole intention of imploring heaven that it will bestow on us individually, upon our families, upon our church, and upon our country, the grace to repent. May these graces save us from both spiritual and physical annihilation as they did for God‘s believers thousands of years ago.

And just as this three day fasting prescription was the catalyst to extraordinary revival in the great city of Nineveh, a city, so large it took days to cross, a city so prosperous it was renowned throughout the world – may our fast catalyze similar extraordinary repentance and revival across this great nation, the new Ninevah - America.

If you end up needing something to drink or something to eat along the way, don’t feel defeated and give up. Indeed be on the lookout for signs of dehydration and if you are, be sure to consume some water. Just pick yourself back up, resolve to make it for the rest of the fast, and continue on with us as best you can through Wednesday evening. Heaven will take notice and appreciate your efforts.

Esther and believers who fasted thousands of years ago for their rescue continue to celebrate the great impact they had upon history. It is a badge of honor for them in Heaven. So too will you be glad you made the effort this week for thousands of years to come.

Why We Fast – Our Core Fasting Intentions

1) We add the new fasting intention of taking back the church from evil. We submit the three-step process to achieve this victory is 1-Repent, 2-Prayer & Fasting and, 3-Imitate our Savior by throwing the evil leadership from the church. We will seek to emulate the Savior in our effort to End The USCCB, an organization that has been devastating to the church.  (“You shall know the spirit by the fruits” - Matt. 7:16)

2) For the Holy Spirit to reign down upon America, renewing our land as the Christian, capitalist meritocracy we were founded to be.

3) For the protection of our police, firefighters, military and their families from harm and that the Lord bless their courageous generosity on our behalf.

4) For the protection of the families who fast with us, and for God’s blessings of abundance upon them and that true to His word, we will be able to witness that He prospered us in famine.

4) For all patriots who put themselves on the front lines in combatting evil and for all of the warriors who are stepping up around the nation to fight for the gospel – May The Father cover them in the blood of our savior,  protect them and their families from evil and bring victory to their endeavors.

5) For priests, ministers and all who aspire to lead others to the Lord, that the Holy Spirit will reign down upon them as at Pentecost filling them to overflowing. 

6) For the Americans jailed after January 6th who were admitted to the Capitol building by the police, and who were not found to have destroyed any property at the capitol yet who have been held captive ever since on our own soil - That God's Spirit will move quickly to bring justice back to this land and free them.
