¹⁰ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. ¹¹ Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ¹² For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of ^[c]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

 Paul's words were clear: Like it or not, every moment of every day we are in a spiritual battle. But as Paul explains, we have the power to overcome evil - we just have to learn the rules of engagement to make sure that we are successful. When united with the Lord, we can overcome the wiles, which is the schemes and lies of the devil. And when united with the Lord we can overcome the spiritual “hosts”, that is the spiritual armies of evil that seek our destruction. For ours is the Lord of “Hosts”, that is the “Lord of the Armies”.

As crazy as it seemed given the occupant of the Oval Office, our senate, our governors, our mayors, our judges, our military commanders, our school boards, teachers’ unions, etc., after the news of June 24^th, perhaps it is a little easier to see that evil is indeed moving into our crosshairs.

This is true even if since June 24th, you have experienced a sudden and noticeable uptick regarding in-fighting with those you love and frustrations on numerous levels. if so, recognize that evil is thrashing about having just been dealt a devastating defeat in this ongoing battle for our salvation. For the first time in decades, America has taken a decisive step of repentance towards the Lord and the old dog Is in a state of hysteria.

And so, with tomorrow's fast, we have the opportunity to dramatically influence the spiritual battle for country, and for our families. As evil tries to regroup, let us be on the offensive and bludgeon it, recalling all of the pain and suffering it has inflicted on 50 million American children who have died to quench satan’s thirst for human sacrifice.  And let us remember the impact evil has surely exerted on those you love. Let us bludgeon evil tomorrow in two ways:

First let us specifically call upon the Lord to pour out his precious blood over our nation and our families, protecting us and wrecking evil's plans in and around us. While fasting we have unique power over evil - let us take advantage of this moment.

Secondly, let us smash the idols in our lives that so offend our Lord. The most studied Old Testament passage in the world today was from the book of Hosea, chapter 8 and included the verses:

4 With their silver and gold they made idols for their own destruction … My anger burns against them…The calf of Samaria shall be broken to pieces.

Many Christians have statues of Buddha or images of Hindu goddesses in their homes or gardens as artwork.  Otheres still wear necklaces derived from eastern religions. These are false gods and are greatly offensive to our Lord.  Do not give these images and statues away - smash them into pieces as scripture calls us to do, so that no one else will be deceived and subject to the demonic influences that accompany these offensive images and infiltrate lives. These idols when invited into our homes and when worn are like trojan horses that bring threats not visible to the eye.

Let us examine if the false god of money is in our lives. If we are justifying ourselves by working on the Lord’s day, this is a sin against the Sabbath. It is a sign that despite our most impassioned objections, in at least some areas of our lives we are making decisions based on the rules of money rather than the commandments of our Lord. Let us smash out these false gods from our lives.

Heaven will be very pleased with our repentance in this regard as no sin is greater than worshipping false gods.  We will again deliver crushing defeats to evil from coast to coast of our great nation by doing this tomorrow. Thank you for fasting with us tomorrow.  You'll be glad you made the effort for all of eternity.

6) For the Americans jailed after January 6th who were admitted to the Capitol building by the police, and who were not found to have destroyed any property at the capitol yet who have been held captive ever since on our own soil - That God's Spirit will move quickly to bring justice back to this land by freeing them while enlightening Americans how to bring God's justice back to our nation.

7) For young Megan who has an incurable liver condition @ Duke Hospital - Asking the Divine Physician for a complete healing.
