God Hears You - Yes He Is Hearing You!
“If you … witness courageously, the truth will miraculously win.” – Medjugorje June 2, 2015

____________________________________________________________________________ Do you ever wonder if your prayers have been heard? Does prayer seem like a one-way conversation with silence on the other end? The Bible has some startling examples of confirmation that prayers have been heard from which to draw confidence that God does hear the cries of our lips and our hearts.
Consider Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist. We read in the first chapter of Luke that the elderly man was fulfilling his duties as priest when all of a sudden, an angel appeared right in front of him. “Do not be afraid, Zechariah,” the angel Gabriel said, calling him by name. “Your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall name him John.” Realize, dear readers, that Zechariah was an old man, so doesn’t it seem reasonable that he had thought that God’s final answer on having a son was “no,” and that he had likely ceased asking for a son some decades prior? God had heard, Gabriel related, yet in His own perfect will, had delayed in answering Zechariah and Elizabeth’s request so that He could show His power. The angel announced Elizabeth’s pregnancy to Mary, and it was that miracle that showed the Virgin that “nothing is impossible with God.” So, God’s answer was in fact “yes, but not now.”
In the book of Daniel (chapter 10), the prophet Daniel had been horrified by a vision that he had seen of a great war. In response, he immediately began fasting and praying, eating sparingly of only the most basic foods- nothing rich or delicious. Three weeks later, an angel revealed himself to Daniel saying, “Do not fear, Daniel. From the first day that you made up your mind to acquire understanding and humble yourself [i.e. fast!] before God, your prayer was heard.” The angel explained that he had been hindered by a demonic force, and only when the archangel Michael was able to reinforce him was he able to reach Daniel. Hence, God had immediately heard his prayer and had set in motion angelic sustenance which arrived after three weeks.
If God created the universe and is Being itself, He is ever-present. He is not way up in heaven, way above the stars or even the clouds. He is invisibly present on the other side of the veil. Your speaking to Him in prayer at any moment is heard. If God grants your request immediately, wow, does it strengthen your faith. If we hear nothing, it could be that God is waiting for His perfect timing. And if God says “no,” it could be that he has something greater in mind.
Romans 8:28 clearly tells us that “all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose.” So, in these bizarre, unstable, worrisome times, all we have to ask ourselves is: Do I love God?” If you can answer “yes,” then God is working out something for your good.
God will hear and answer each prayer of your lips and heart as you fast.

Why We Fast – Our Core Fasting Intentions 1) For the Holy Spirit to reign down upon America renewing our land as the Christian, capitalist meritocracy we were founded to be. 2) For the protection of our police, firefighters, military and their families from harm and that the Lord bless their courageous generosity on our behalf one hundredfold. 3) For the protection of the families who fast with us, and for God’s blessings of abundance upon them and that true to His word, we will be able to witness that He prospered us in famine. 4) For Mike Lindell who is putting himself on the front lines suing over the election fraud that has taken place and for all of the warriors who are stepping up around the nation to fight for the gospel – May The Father cover them in the blood of our savior, protect them and their families from evil and bring victory to their endeavors. |
