As you know, this year, we celebrated the 80th anniversary of D-Day when America’s soldiers, almost uniformly Christian, voluntarily laid down their lives and were slaughtered on the beaches of Europe.

They did so for a cause they loved and believed in - The United States of America, Christian Republic that it was founded to be.

Imagine their feelings leading up to that morning. Traveling by slow boat across the world, knowing what their mission was - to run onto the beach essentially defenseless into the buzzsaw gunfire of the Nazi stronghold.  They knew that most of them would die that morning but they did so willingly.

And what do you think their thoughts were about their loved ones as they rode the choppy waves into Normandy?

The heartbreak the soldiers knew would be upon their parents, upon their siblings, upon their girlfriends - when word of their death eventually reached home.

The boys probably sensed, another reality we fail to appreciate, that the hearts of their loved ones would bleed out just like their bodies would bleed out on the sands of France. Their moms and dads would never fully recover from their deaths. Life would never again be the same for any of those families even though they were thousands of miles from the gunfire because of the commitment these boys displayed for you and me.

Pause for just 10 seconds and put yourselves in the boots of those young men - healthy and vibrant with everything in life to look forward to.

Surely those men believed that we in 2024 we would not only remember but would appreciate their sacrifice and that we would stand up to protect their families just as they would lay down their lives to protect ours. That we would carry forward the pillars of America's Christian Republic just as they did.

Today, our generation has done nothing that those men would have asked of us.

These dead souls have a right to be furious with Americans today because of our lack of effort.

Other than pausing for a two-minute news clip on June 6th to mark the date of their sacrifices ... what have we done for their families?

After 15 years of writing fasting reminders, encouraging Americans to join us in fasting two days each week as first century Christians said all believers are obligated to do, this will be our final Fasting Reminder that we will send out.

Why now?

You may recall that in April we asked believers to join us in fasting six days a week like the exorcists fast six days a week throughout the month of May in light of our spiritual war.

The specific prescription that we followed was to bread and water fast for 24 hours on Wednesdays and Fridays as we have all these years. We added the other days of the week save the sabbath, namely, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, to our fast as well.  On those four days we fasted two meals daily, meaning that we fasted on bread and water two meals each day, but allowed ourselves one full meal each day.

Think about the brilliance of bread and water fasting that heaven explicitly said is the best fast. It is clearly a sacrifice for the Lord, yet it allows believers to maintain full strength to go about our daily duties. If we are going to fast consistently as Christians dating to the 1st century have done, heaven knew we needed to be able to function and achieve our regular duties.

Similarly adding in four incremental days of fasting each week where believers have bread and water throughout most of the day, but allow one full meal daily allows us to expand our attack on evil while again maintaining our full strength to carry about our daily duties.

Many always respond to Heaven‘s prescription of bread and water fasting as saying that is so easy, how can it find favor with the Lord? These four incremental days of fasting are even easier.

Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, probably articulated this nuance better than any other believer in her guidance on growing closer to the Lord.

Thérèse explained that the heart is all that matters to the Lord.

That spiritual greatness comes not from succeeding in one or two massive endeavors for the Lord over a lifetime, but by doing the little things each day for Him with heart. With heart meaning offering our actions, our prayers and our sacrifices to the Lord as a cheerful giver, every day.

Realize satan hates bread as bread has been indispensable to our salvation.  From the manna provided in the desert, to the nourishment of Ezekiel on his 40 day fast, to Jesus' final commandment to consume Him in the breaking of the bread - for whatever reason heaven has bestowed favor upon bread. Realize we are talking about 100% whole-grain bread, not the toxic filth that the FDA proudly puts on store shelves today with its chemicals and deliberate poisons. If you have what science today calls gluten issues, research the benefits of consuming grain that is from Europe. If you have tried products labeled 100% whole grain organic bread, and it has not made a difference to your tolerance of bread, it is a strong sign that the grains and bread you tried, despite what the label may superficially say, were not free from such poisons. Consider trying flour such as Polselli Classica from Italy.

And so moving forward we are expanding what we spoke of in April and will begin fasting indefinitely in this war against America and this war against the church, six days each week.

We encourage you to think of the sacrifices that have been made for you and for your family generations before us. Instead of saying, that's too big of a sacrifice, realize that in reality it is nothing for us to do this compared to the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives for us.

Coincident with our thoughts on broadening our fasting, the Mother of the Redeemer recently repeated her request in Medjugorje that we form prayer groups. Prayer groups that step into the void of fellowship, and into the dearth of scripture study that plagues the church today.

And so replacing our weekly fasting emails, we are going to begin to make public the daily prayer that we offer as a company at Saint Joseph. We will forward links to our prayer that you can listen to anytime during the day. We invite you to join our prayer group.  Especially if you feel you are alone in your spiritual walk or are wandering – join us as we pray together and pray for you.

As we transition to this new chapter for us after fifteen years, let us conclude in prayer once again:

Heavenly Father, King Jesus, Holy Spirit, we praise You and we praise Your Holy Name. We thank You for Your immeasurable love and sacrifices for us.  Because You have shown us that You desire that we pray first for the church and our churches we do so - Help us to repent that the church and will once again be Yours. We pray also for the Christian Republic that is the United States of America – for its complete restoration in every way. We pray for the protection of the believers who live Your commands just as You protected believers who followed your ordinances in Egypt amidst the devastating plagues that You sent. We pray for your blessings upon believers in every way in this life and for eternal life for them and their loved ones. Restore our families and our health, bless us just as You did Your believers in scripture. We pray for the soldiers, police, and firefighters who have died throughout American history and for their loved ones whose lives were also ravaged by their sacrifices for America. We ask your mercy upon any of those souls who may not be with you in heaven.  Precious blood of Jesus cover them and unlock Your greatest mercy upon each of them so that like the good thief that they may be with you this day in paradise.

Thank you Father for the great blessing that we believe is coming upon our church, upon America and upon our families manifesting the timelessness of your word and the blessings you impart to those who surrender to you. We pray this in the name of our savior, King Jesus.

Thank you to all of those who fasted with us over the past 15 years.

Thank you to all of those who will begin fasting with us moving forward.

And thank you to those who are willing to step up beside us in the spiritual battle, raising the bar and beginning to fast more than the two days required each week of Christians as we intensify our effort to take back our church and country.

Remember, heaven has told us that by making novenas of fasting and reparation for our sins, evil will have to stay far from us. What an extraordinary insight and blessing in this war.

1) We add the new fasting intention of taking back the church from evil. We submit the three-step process to achieve this victory is 1-Repent, 2-Prayer & Fasting and, 3-Imitate our Savior by throwing the evil leadership from the church.
