Please take note that since Friday is the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart, we will be fasting Wednesday and Thursday this week, reserving Friday for feasting and celebrating Christ’s profound love for all humanity emanating from His pierced heart. 

Last weekend, in Branson Missouri, a group of Christian patriots gathered to hear speakers, muster courage, and renew their activism to help turn this country around. There were many topics of grave concern discussed such as the open border, the stealing of elections with computer hacking, the New World Order, universal digital I.D.s, and digital currency which will certainly be used to force citizens to comply. Over and over, the patriots were urged to stand up and do something or our country will be lost to communism, as it is the 11th hour. 

One encouraging theme that was a running undercurrent was what God is doing among His people to come to their aid. The organizer of the conference, Doug Billings, who was a hospital administrator during the beginning of covid was asked to enforce hospital policies based on a deceptive and hugely inflated death count. When he refused, he was fired. He later went on to start a podcast called The Right Side which reaches many more people than he ever would have influenced as an administrator. Another young woman who was supporting a particular candidate for office was told by God that she herself would run for that same office. Soon after answering God, that “no, she wasn’t!” she received a call from the candidate who told her that she was no longer running and that this young woman should run. She did, and she won! There were many other stories of people being prompted to run for office or being fired for standing up for truth only to be given a much larger role than they had had before. 

When God gives a mission, as He did for Moses, or Gideon, or Joan of Arc, it is apparent that he picks ordinary people who feel inadequate.

He does not require huge armies to accomplish His ends.

No, He just requires our cooperation with a “yes, Lord.” As the saying goes, “God does not call the equipped; He equips the called.” So when God lays a mission heavily on a person’s heart, it may seem like an extremely unlikely idea at first, but time and again, He shows that He guides the steps of the called.

Though most recognize that this current battle is more than simply a political battle and that it is a ferocious spiritual battle between the forces of good and evil, many neglect the spiritual weapons! Every Christian, no matter if he is specifically called to a mission or not, should be using the weapons of prayer and fasting. Even Tucker Carlson, after all the thousands of hours of alerting patriots to the dangers of the current situation, said in a speech at the Heritage Foundation that perhaps everyone should simply pray just 10 minutes a day. Do we even do that??? 

We leave you with this passage for your spiritual warfare playbook. Please read it aloud. 

Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from His mighty power. Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil. For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the Principalities, with the Powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens. Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to hold your ground.

So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate, and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace. In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And the the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. With all prayer and supplication pray at every opportunity in the Spirit.

Why We Fast – Our Core Fasting Intentions

1) We add the new fasting intention of taking back the church from evil. We submit the three-step process to achieve this victory is 1-Repent, 2-Prayer & Fasting and, 3-Imitate our Savior by throwing the evil leadership from the church. We will seek to emulate the Savior in our effort to End The USCCB, an organization that has been devastating to the church.  (“You shall know the spirit by the fruits” - Matt. 7:16)

2) For the Holy Spirit to reign down upon America, renewing our land as the Christian, capitalist meritocracy we were founded to be.

3) For the protection of our police, firefighters, military and their families from harm and that the Lord bless their courageous generosity on our behalf.

4) For the protection of the families who fast with us, and for God’s blessings of abundance upon them and that true to His word, we will be able to witness that He prospered us in famine.

5) For priests, ministers and all who aspire to lead others to the Lord, that the Holy Spirit will reign down upon them as at Pentecost filling them to overflowing. 

6) For the Americans jailed after January 6th who were admitted to the Capitol building by the police, and who were not found to have destroyed any property at the capitol yet who have been held captive ever since on our own soil - That God's Spirit will move quickly to bring justice back to this land and free them.
