Thank you so much for fasting with us. Our Lord who has done everything possible for us longs to hear from us during this wonderful advent season. And amidst an ocean of indifference, you willingly choose to make an extra sacrifice by fasting, going beyond what most pastors would ever say is expected of you. You do so with a joyful spirit, communicating to the heavens how important Jesus is to you.

Thank you also for all the good ideas you give to us. Our fasting pages, one of the most replete repositories on fasting information, has been largely written by you over the past decade, as you have brought so many excellent insights to our attention.

And in this season of wonder we wanted to pass on another amazing story you brought to our attention of an inexplicable miracle.  This came about when a client telephoned and was speaking with the head of our Latin American Team. When the client learned our colleague was from Columbia, our client asked if we had heard of Dr. Gloria Polo who also is from Columbia. In 1995 Dr. Polo was struck by lightning that was so intense, the rescue squad could not minister to her upon arrival because she was still too electrified to touch. Her skin was scorched as you would expect, and doctors concluded her interior organs were damaged even more severely. Gloria went into cardiac arrest and experienced a full death experience. She saw the lights described by so many who have died and come back to life. A self-avowed atheist, Gloria had abandoned the Christian faith buying into Darwinian philosophies that spew from academia. It only took one second at death for her to realize how real God is, and to desire as she had never desired anything in her life to remain in God’s presence. However … she was destined to hell because of her life choices.

Bringing to mind the words of the Mother of Jesus in one of her apparitions when Mary said that so many souls go to purgatory and hell because they have no one to pray for them, Gloria experienced something extraordinary. As hell beckoned a man she described as a poor, uneducated and simple peasant became aware of Gloria’s gruesome death. The man prayed, asking for God’s mercy on her soul … and mercy was granted. With a warning to Gloria that her next judgement would be far more severe because of all that Gloria had seen of the afterlife, Gloria was given another opportunity to repent and choose God.

Her story is filled with miracles as her legs that were described as shriveled raisins and were slated for amputation were restored, her physical tissue grew back and even her ovaries were miraculously restored such that she was able to have a daughter.

2) For the protection of our police, firefighters, military and their families from harm and that the Lord bless their courageous generosity on our behalf one hundredfold.

3) For the protection of the families who fast with us, and for God’s blessings of abundance upon them and that true to His word, we will be able to witness that He prospered us in famine.

6) For the Americans jailed after January 6th who were admitted to the Capitol building by the police, and who were not found to have destroyed any property at the capitol yet who have been held captive ever since on our own soil - That God's Spirit will move quickly to bring justice back to this land by freeing them while enlightening Americans how to bring God's justice back to our nation.

7) For young Megan who has an incurable liver condition @ Duke Hospital - Asking the Divine Physician for a complete healing.
