Thank you to everyone who is making the special effort to call out to the Lord and implore Him for what must be one of his favorite fasting intentions he has ever heard –

the grace to repent.

Tonight we are almost 2/3 of the way through our fast.

We are 48 steps up this 72-step mountain. If you turn and look at the ground you have climbed, you have already risen to great heights in the Lord‘s eyes – greater than most will ever offer Him in a fast.

By the time you read this, the mental voices trying to discourage you and the thoughts of impossibility to achieve this goal have likely subsided into more of a quiet peacefulness. You are likely feeling a little weary – allow yourself extra sleep tonight and even a few naps tomorrow to assist your body in the final day of your fast. And of course, a very early bedtime tomorrow will give way to a wonderful opportunity to feast when you awake past midnight, sometime on Thursday morning.

Esther seems to have received great insights on the third day, likely at the end of her third day of fasting.

So be sure, having made all of this effort, that tomorrow evening before retiring to bed find someplace quiet and comfortable, and seize the opportunity to hear from the Lord.

This is a special moment when you have drained yourself for His glory.

Begin by playing a few of your favorite praise songs, even if you just whisper them on your lips, allow the praise to just wash over you. Read some of the Word.  Then, be sure to say to Him that you gladly offer this small fasting sacrifice to Him as you believe it is very pleasing to Him. Ask Him to bless your gift to Him, and following the guidance of Eli to Samuel, say to Lord:

“Speak Lord, thy servant listens.”

And then just listen.

Listen for whispers gently floating across your thoughts or words that seem to land on your heart rather than on your ears.

Be sensitive to thoughts that you may not have had before. If these thoughts are not against the commandments or church teaching, the chances are new ideas that come to you at such a special moment of grace are from the Lord. He is very aware of your offering to Him and very close to you. Evil will have likely already left you by the end of the third day, humiliated that you were able to overcome its attacks, desperately trying to keep you from these graces.

And then, as you cross the finish line and enjoy plenty of water, and whatever food appeals to you, recall that when Jesus ended his strenuous fast, the angels visited Him.  The angels will be with you as well at that moment of victory to minister to you, as you will have accomplished something so special along the lines of what Jesus did in the desert. Like Jesus you will have endured and overcome evil’s deceptions for the glory of the Lord.

Your effort has changed history, and perhaps more than ever before given heaven’s words that this is such a special, grace filled moment.

Think about it - souls who had no one to pray for them and sacrifice for them, will gain the graces to attain eternal life that they otherwise would not have just because of you. There is not a more precious gift you can give anyone.

Many of you who have had some water given concerns over dehydration or you may have had something to eat along the way – thank you also!

Press on as best you can to the finish line tomorrow night. Likewise, your effort is doing more good than you can possibly imagine. Thousands of years from now people will still be wishing they had seized the opportunity to impact history so greatly as you have this week.

Press on however you have chosen to fast with us these three days – the finish line is coming into view.   God bless & God bless America, the land we love.

Why We Fast – Our Core Fasting Intentions

1) We add the new fasting intention of taking back the church from evil. We submit the three-step process to achieve this victory is 1-Repent, 2-Prayer & Fasting and, 3-Imitate our Savior by throwing the evil leadership from the church. We will seek to emulate the Savior in our effort to End The USCCB, an organization that has been devastating to the church.  (“You shall know the spirit by the fruits” - Matt. 7:16)

2) For the Holy Spirit to reign down upon America, renewing our land as the Christian, capitalist meritocracy we were founded to be.

3) For the protection of our police, firefighters, military and their families from harm and that the Lord bless their courageous generosity on our behalf.

4) For the protection of the families who fast with us, and for God’s blessings of abundance upon them and that true to His word, we will be able to witness that He prospered us in famine.

6) For the Americans jailed after January 6th who were admitted to the Capitol building by the police, and who were not found to have destroyed any property at the capitol yet who have been held captive ever since on our own soil - That God's Spirit will move quickly to bring justice back to this land and free them.
