The Spirit, Rescuing France & History's 1st Proclamation of the Gospel
[I] warn you that satan, by every means possible, wants to ruin everything in you; but your prayers prevent him from succeeding. When you fill up all the empty spaces with prayer, you prevent satan from entering your soul. Pray, dear children, and your Mother will pray with you to defeat satan. - Medjugorje March 21, 1988 |

It has been an exciting week in the church calendar, beginning of course with last Sunday’s paramount feast of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is what the church and America need today - end of story. So let us continue to implore Heaven to pour out an abundance of the Holy Spirit upon us during this holy Pentecost season.
Yesterday, history also remembered, one of the most relevant saints to our times today, Joan of Arc. Joan was uneducated and entirely untrained in all matters related to the military. However, if you feel dismayed at the decay of America and the decay of the church, consider Joan’s plight when the entire nation of France was reduced to a few surviving city blocks from its rich history.
Into such hopelessness stepped this 14-year-old girl as the last chance for an entire nation.
The Lord clearly savored orchestrating her dramatic success and the rescue and restoration of France. Believers - Do not doubt for one minute that there is hope for the restoration of America.
And today, the church records the celebration of the Visitation, the first proclamation of the gospel. Elizabeth recognizes the babe in Mary’s womb, just days after Jesus’ conception, and proclaims He is the living savior.
Elizabeth’s closing words from that first gospel proclamation are an encouragement to us to believe what the Lord has said:
“blessed is she [Mary] who believed that there would be fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord." - Luke 1:45
It was Mary’s belief that unlocked unique grace on her and the world just as your belief will unlock great grace in your life.
How blessed Elizabeth was that Mary cared enough to walk such great distance, so that Mary could assist her cousin during the time of her pregnancy, remaining with Elizabeth until the Baptist was born.
And it stands to reason that Christ meant what he said from the cross “behold your mother”, and that like all words from our Savior have meaning to believers today. How blessed we are that Mary may not only care for us with the love she displayed to Elizabeth but with the tender care of maternal love. On this special feast of the gospel, we invite Mary to bring the angels who assisted believers throughout scriptures down from heaven and to visit our families this day just as you did with Elizabeth with your unique and special presence.
While some may be feasting today, and fasting different days this week, thank you to all those who are joining us whenever you fast this week – you’ll be glad you made the effort for all of eternity. Why We Fast – Our Core Fasting Intentions 1) We add the new fasting intention of taking back the church from evil. We submit the three-step process to achieve this victory is 1-Repent, 2-Prayer & Fasting and, 3-Imitate our Savior by throwing the evil leadership from the church. We will seek to emulate the Savior in our effort to End The USCCB, an organization that has been devastating to the church. (“You shall know the spirit by the fruits” - Matt. 7:16) 2) For the Holy Spirit to reign down upon America, renewing our land as the Christian, capitalist meritocracy we were founded to be. 3) For the protection of our police, firefighters, military and their families from harm and that the Lord bless their courageous generosity on our behalf. 4) For the protection of the families who fast with us, and for God’s blessings of abundance upon them and that true to His word, we will be able to witness that He prospered us in famine. 4) For all patriots who put themselves on the front lines in combatting evil and for all of the warriors who are stepping up around the nation to fight for the gospel – May The Father cover them in the blood of our savior, protect them and their families from evil and bring victory to their endeavors. |
