Today, the most studied psalm in the world had a very revealing insight for us as we battle with evil in the hand-to-hand combat of everyday life:

I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.

• Psalm 18:3

David is showing us that calling upon the Lord specifically means to praise the Lord.

What percentage of our prayer life is spent in praise?

It should be the overwhelming majority of our time.

Let us praise Him, not just in spite of our problems, but let us praise him specifically for our difficulties because He knows what is best for us and has arranged for everything. Your trust will send evil into convulsions. And if that seems difficult to believe, let’s remember that Good Friday looked like an absolute disaster but it proved to be history's greatest moment.

In addition to praise, here is a prayer we have shared with you before from an exorcist who deals with evil in its most intense forms. It reads so innocuously you could share it with a kindergarten and the child would not be concerned.

In closing, remember and share one of the most extraordinary teachings from Medjugorje with those you love – if we will do novenas of fasting and novenas of prayer in renunciation for our sins, evil will be forced to stay far from us.

What an insight from Heaven.

Imagine families not taking advantage of keeping evil at a distance when it is so easy to do so. Our interpretation of this is that we do a permanent novena of fasting at least a third day each week and we pray once each week in renunciation for our sins. We choose to pray for approximately fifteen minutes each week with the rosary for this specific prayer of repentance.  Obviously you can pray in any way you choose – We just suggest you make it more than a one minute reflection. Commit some time to the exercise.

We encourage you to set reminders for yourself to make perpetual novenas of fasting and reparation so that you too will be blessed by seeing evil kept at bay in all areas of your life.
