Yesterday, the most widely studied passage from the Old Testament was from Genesis 45. In the chapter Joseph, who blessed his nation with an abundance of food while the rest of the world was starving, summarizes his assignment from the Lord in verse 5:

God sent me before you to preserve life.

Those continue to be our marching orders as Jews and Christians today.

God sends us to preserve life.

The operating mantra of the Democratic Party is to push policies that are contrary to every commandment of God and to stifle all the Lord asks us to do.

Of course the Democrats will deny this, but the reality speaks for itself.

All one has to do is go down the list of 10 Commandments and you will see how this plays out with perhaps their most vehement position being support for abortion and policy supporting the execution of children after birth as championed by Obama.

Without coincidence and why we felt we were to choose this topic today, the most studied gospel in the world yesterday also had striking political implications. Remember, one of satan’s most important mantra to his minions is to push the lie: don’t talk about religion or politics with friends.

Jesus didn’t get that memo:

the laborer deserves his food
– Matthew 10:10

Notice, Jesus chooses to use the word the laborer, not the lazy. Saint Paul clarified any doubt as to who should eat with his equally explicit words in 2 Thess 3:10

For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

Realize welfare is satanic.

Welfare puts recipients in bondage because it is a direct breakage of God’s order. To the shock of the liberal church that we must reclaim, welfare also curses its donors. Consider searing criticism of democratic social justice from Sirach 12:

When you do a good deed, make sure you know who is benefiting from it; then what you do will not be wasted. 2 You will be repaid for any kindness you show to a devout person. If he doesn't repay you, the Most High will. 3 No good ever comes to a person who gives comfort to the wicked; it is not a righteous act.[b] 4 Give to religious people, but don't help sinners. 5 Do good to humble people, but don't give anything to those who are not devout. Don't give them food, or they will use your kindness against you. Every good thing you do for such people will bring you twice as much trouble in return. 6 The Most High himself hates sinners, and he will punish them. 7 Give to good people, but do not help sinners.

So satan’s challenge was how to sell welfare when it is so destructive and so ungodly.

Being the brilliant liar that he is, satan framed welfare as “love”.  A misguided concept of love was the same strategy and is the same deception satan used to ensnare Peter before taking complete possession of Peter. satan told Peter, if you love Jesus you can’t let him suffer and die. Where is you heart Peter? And Jesus showed Peter how that view was not love at all.

Giving someone welfare because they want it is no more an act of love than giving a screaming child candy because he wants it.  Love is the opposite – It is disciplining the child and forcing him to do what is in his best interest. It is indifference and not caring about the child that gives in to the child’s whining, creating brats.

Love cares enough about the person not to compromise with the child and love doesn’t compromise with the lazy - pick yourself up and work … or starve.

Sound harsh? Remember that was exactly what the apostle of love, Saint Paul told humanity. Notice in scripture Jesus talks about caring for his brothers and He is clear that His brothers are those who follow His commandments. When Jesus fed the thousands, they were not asking for food – They pursued Jesus spiritually first and only then did He feed them. The only time we see Jesus say no to someone in scripture and never bless them was when He was asked to feed someone who had not first come to Him seeking the kingdom.

That is not a coincidence.

And before you say many people can’t work, perhaps one in 1000 who claim welfare would fall in that bucket. We need to point the arrow of our charity in the opposite direction where we know we are aligned with scriptural charity.

If you are a Christian or a Jew and you have been a Democrat and supported Democrats, you need to repent, and never again support causes that contradict God’s commands.

You can’t be Christian and Democrat.

Believers have to align our views with scripture – there is simply nothing else to say and no way of getting around that reality. And for Catholics who see 20% of catholic bishops are democrat – well there you have your likely list of satanic worshippers in sheep’s clothing.  To be clear the Republican party has many satanic worshippers and traitors as well. The difference however is that the ideals of the democratic platform today are an affront to God.

Clergy, we see in scripture that Zechariah, the Baptist's father was held to a higher standard as a clergyman. When Zechariah simply doubted he was cursed – It would be tragic if after giving up so much as all clergy do in this life if you didn’t surrender the most important topic to God: His will on spiritual matters.

Why We Fast – Our Core Fasting Intentions

1) We add the new fasting intention of taking back the church from evil. We submit the three-step process to achieve this victory is 1-Repent, 2-Prayer & Fasting and, 3-Imitate our Savior by throwing the evil leadership from the church. We will seek to emulate the Savior in our effort to End The USCCB, an organization that has been devastating to the church.  (“You shall know the spirit by the fruits” - Matt. 7:16)

2) For the Holy Spirit to reign down upon America, renewing our land as the Christian, capitalist meritocracy we were founded to be.

3) For the protection of our police, firefighters, military and their families from harm and that the Lord bless their courageous generosity on our behalf.

4) For the protection of the families who fast with us, and for God’s blessings of abundance upon them and that true to His word, we will be able to witness that He prospered us in famine.

6) For the Americans jailed after January 6th who were admitted to the Capitol building by the police, and who were not found to have destroyed any property at the capitol yet who have been held captive ever since on our own soil - That God's Spirit will move quickly to bring justice back to this land and free them.
