The 1oz Great Britain Gold Britannia is minted from .9999 pure gold and features His Majesty King Charles III. 

After Queen Elizabeth II's passing in 2022, the Royal Mint introduced a fresh obverse design, replacing the Queen's portrayal with the effigy of King Charles III. Of note, the Queen was depicted with her right-profile while King Charles III is depicted with his left-profile. 

The Royal Mint introduced the Britannia Series in 1987 featuring the Britannia figure as a symbol of the strength and integrity of Great Britain. 

Dates on random year coins will be of our choosing, determined by current stock on hand, and may or may not vary. These coins may feature the image of the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth III and/or His Majesty King Charles III.
